We are off on a road trip
Thank you all for your comments and support re Cameh’s back issues. We are just taking it one day at a time and actually often one hour at a time. Yesterday we put her on the sofa in the RV and penned her in and she relaxed and fell into a deep sleep. I was able to keep icing her as I put things away. I can see that we will have a huge challenge on this trip as one of us needs to be watching her constantly. Once we are stopped and can put the slide out we can set up the pen and she will be contained with no chance of crawling or falling.
A very special thank you to Lynne who came up with a brilliant suggestion. http://www.handicappedpetscanada.com/walkin-wheels-mini/ This wheelchair cart is so flexible and can be used for rehabilitation. Our vet wants us to wait a while till we see how much Carmeh recovers plus the stress of the cart would be too much right now. We also want her to stay as quiet as possible.

RV Park Chez Rae is on that itinerary, yay! Travel safe and please give me a heads up when you can to confirm your arrival day.
I just read this as well as your last post. I’m so sorry about your sweet girl’s back issue….makes me so sad. Sending best wishes and all the positive vibes I can possibly send.
You are all much happier when you are out travelling. Carmeh will sense that as well and be more relaxed.
Have a great road trip. At least you are all together!
Have a safe and productive trip.
Looks like you have a good route planned. I am sure it will be nice to rediscover part of Canada for a change. Hoping that Carmeh settles down and starts to feel better.

I am so very sorry for the doggie health issues… you guys take such good café of them both. It is sad and stressfull and hope things get better really soon…. Luci does well with acupuncture and chiropractic treatments when she has her ‘issues’ but they are not as bad as yours, she never has lost movement ability…
Safe travels! Enjoy!
