Que Pasa and finding $1000.00!!
Just wanted to mention that we drove 2747 miles/4421Km the last two weeks. It cost us $1534.20CAD for the fuel. It was a duty trip and one that won’t be repeated in the RV for some time.
We had a very long telephone call with our vet yesterday and discussed a number of things. That included the many suggestions from you my readers from elk velvet antlers to Cushings Disease. I will fill you in on some of the details tomorrow. We are so fortunate so have Susan Wales of Panorama Vet as our vet as she is very dedicated and is always there for us. We have called her day and night from many parts of the US and as far south as Acapulco and she is always there for us. Once she was hosting a Super Bowl party but still took the time to help us.
We usually go for a least one stroller/walk per day. When it is too hot we take the girls for a spin in the golf cart.
It has been difficult creating a routine of work and trying to ignore the girls. They have had our undivided attention for 3 weeks now and are not used to us sitting at our desks for eight hours a day. Colin has to start leaving the house to get some jobs done and the extra burden will fall on me. I have used the last 2 days to get caught up and now will only do what needs to be done urgently on a day by day basis. When Carmeh sleeps ( Caeli is always sleeping ) I will be able to get more done.
Oh yes…..where did we find the $1000.00? It was under our house in the misc. storage area just laying in plain sight.
Well is it worth over $1000.00 plus tax. We need two of these. We had one and needed to purchase a second one. While Colin was routing around under the house looking for a few things yesterday he found this in the far corner. Neither of us remember purchasing it. We both knew we had purchased the one. The thing is we need two of these to make them work.
Any ideas? Give up?
It is an airbag. We need two of these under the back end of the RV to raise us and cushion our ride. They are air springs and it is like driving on an air filled balloon. Ours are 14 years old and need replacing this summer. Now we only need to pay for the labor to install them. Sure nice to find that $1000.00 😆

You might want to check to see how old the airbag is. You might not gain much using it if it is too old. But then again, it was stored in good conditions being dark, cool and dry.
Colin says the airbags aren’t more than 2 or 3 years old and they always been stored under the house where it is cooler and dry.
Now that was a nice find, keep looking maybe find another? lol..
Well finding two is good enough. Just have to find someone to install them.
I had a cherry tree that split from the wait of ice after an ice storm. My sister and I decided that we were going to save it by outing two bolts through it giving the branch support. It still is blooming every year to date, that was in 1998. We call it our Frankenstein tree. LOL
Thanks Catheline, that sounds like an idea worth trying. Now I’m going to think of you and your tree if we end up doing the same. Stay tuned.
I love how much you love your girls. I wish every animal had a home like yours.
Thanks Teri. That reminds me of the time we were crossing into the US from Canada heading to Mexico several years ago. The border agent upon seeing all the toys and other things we had just for the dogs, said that we would like to be reincarnated as one of our dogs 🙂
Colin is my kind of friend. He’s such a goof ball just like me. Can’t wait to get together again with you guys!
Let’s hope that it is sooner than later.
the flowers are beautiful.
I have always said – when I come back – I want to come back as a male dog! perfect life.
Welcome to the comment section of the blog Ann, nice to have you here. The trick is finding good owners if you come back as a dog 🙂
