Still somewhat overcast and we even had a very light sprinkle.

A late night and an early morning meant that my family needed a nap before breakfast!

Yesterday we were treated to some color at sunset.

We were also treated to a visit by Jeannie and Drew. Quite the discussion we had.

When we finally said adios and went in to feed the girls, we ound Caeli hiding behind the recliner.

Perhaps she was upset that her dinner was two hours late. Actually there had also been a few loud bangs in the area, people are still celebrating the new year.

She is fine today as we are despite another late evening.  Nothing to do today but read and catch up on my many many emails.  Colin gets to play with his guitar all day.  A great beginning to 2016.  What will the rest of the year bring?  You will just have to check in with me to find out.  Enjoy your Sunday where ever you are 😉

Contessa, Caeli really seems to enjoy the rub down after her bath – she is smiling in both pictures!
Our departure date grows closer – January 9 God willing and nothing else happens to delay again. It is time to just put everything aside and hit the road. Happy New Year to you and Colin.

Yep, just got home about an hour ago. Had a great time on the Isla. The road from the Isla to the airport is well underway. Two great stretches already paved and the unpaved areas are graded and awaiting. Looks good to us. Things will probably change though in the future but that’s progress. I will be posting on the blog in the next day or two.

  6. Enjoy the quiet time while you can.

  7. Obviously Caeli is much more discerning.
Happy New Year to you and Colin.

  8. Looks like a lovely day to me. Happy New Year!

  9. To heck with peace and quiet – Doug always says there will be enough quiet when we are dead!! We are hoping to be in Mazatlan about next Sunday. Who knows, maybe we will come to see you. Keep an eye out for a Caribbean Teal VW Westfalia!!

Love the pictures of the lights – so comforting and cozy!!

Hope to see (and meet) you soon – Nancy & Doug
