Quality time with good friends
We usually see Hannelore and Peter several times over the winter. This year they weren’t even sure that they were going to get here but things just fell into place for them at the last minute. Sadly it has not worked out for us to bump into them everywhere and share some spontaneous moments so we set up the big meet up 😀
Last Thursday the 24th as we crossed the shipping channel into Mazatlan we were surprised to see 2 cruise ships in dock.
Such a difference in size. We knew that the Grand Princess was to be in port but not the Voyager. It was headed to Acapulco where yesterday it started a Central America Adventure. The Voyageur only holds 550 people and has some interesting statistics vs the large cruise ships we see these days.
We met our friends at one our of favorite restaurants , El Fish where there is always lots of action be it on the malecon, the road or the ocean. Not to mention great food at very reasonable prices. Plus they do a generous white wine pour for 50 pesos.
A different perspective for us to see the Grand Princess sail out.
I wondered what Colin was doing with my camera.
So nice to spend some special time with good friends.
I do enjoy watching the sun slip into the ocean.
