A quick note

We arrived back home about 11:ooAM safe and sound.  We had a good cry and lots of hugs and then moved on to the unpacking.  We just now realized that we have been working for over 8 hours.   Adrenaline I guess.  We have had lots of hugs and some tears and shared some memories.  We are coping.  I leave you with two observations.

The first that it is bloody cold here.  At this time of year we should be rather warm and have windows open and not the fireplace on.

We just now both saw the beaver.  Unbelievable on our first day.  Some years we don’t see him and others we only spot him a few times.  A lovely welcome.

Hope to do a proper post tomorrow.

Wow, that was a fast trip! Welcome home!

  5. The beaver thought you could use some animal cuteness 🙂 Glad you made it home safe. We put our patio furniture out/washed down everything and planted a few flowers yesterday in the sunshine….even though the high was only 10 degrees. I surely do hope things warm up soon. It was a crappy winter for sure.

You both have been in our thoughts and so thankful for all the traveling mercies you received to get back home safely and for the extra travel Colin had to see him Mom. Settle in before you start the taxes, if you can. Will think of you when I get ours started soon; our CPA filed an extension for us. Yea for that extension but you still have to deal with the taxes!
