A few photos from Venice
These photos were taken by Colin. You are going to see a lot of canal shots but then that is what Venice is all about.
We toured the old and new ghetto areas yesterday and stopped for a late lunch on the way back. I am sitting at a table along the canal under the umbrella on the right. That pink sky turned out to be a long rain shower.
This was the view looking the other way. We had just finished our meal when the rain started. What to do but head inside the restaurant to finish our wine then order a glass of prosecco as we waited for the sky to clear.
As we left the area we saw this artist at work in an open window along the canal.
View of the San Marco Campanile/Bell Tower, taken just now out of our apartment living room window. We are about to head that way for some music, food and wine.

Life is perfecto! Interesting link you had to the artist Lorenzo Quinn (the hands holding up the building). Seems the hands may go on tour to places suffering the effects of climate change. First up could be Pisa.
As Peter said, Venice should be on everyone’s bucket list.
