    ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. SOUNDS LIKE A NEW COMPUTER I GOT. A TECH CAME OVER ALMOST EVERY WEEK, SOMETIMES EVERY OTHER DAY, TO TWEAK IT OR BRING NEW PARTS AND FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR THEY MESSED AROUND WITH IT. AFTER A YEAR I TOLD THEM TO TAKE THE PIECE OF JUNK AWAY. THEY HAD SPENT PROBABLY AT LEAST 10 TIMES THE VALUE OF THE COMPUTER ON REPAIRS, TECH ADJUSTMENTS. THINK THEY PUT IN AT LEAST 3 MOTHER BOARDS,BUNCH OF CMOS BATTERIES, HARD DRIVES, ETC. THEY FINALLY DID SEND A REPLACEMENT BUT I REFUSED THE SAME BRAND AND HAVE NEVER, NOR WILL I EVER HAVE THAT BRAND AGAIN. I STICK WITH DELL. IT SEEMS AS IF THEY GET POSSESSED ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT AND WOULD RATHER HAVE AN A VERY INCONVENIENCED, UNHAPPY CUSTOMER AND TRY TO FIX IT PIECE BY PIECE. WE TOLD THE TECH WE SHOULD GIVE HIM A ROOM AS HE WAS AT OUR PLACE MORE THAN HIS OWN!! WHY WON’T THEY ADMIT THAT THAT PARTICULAR PRODUCT IS A LEMON? AND THAT WAS HOW I GOT RID OF IT WAS THROUGH THE “LEMON LAW” WHICH OBVIOUSLY IS NOT JUST FOR VEHICLES. I KNOW YOUR FRUSTRATIONS AND THEY JUST FESTER OVER THE DAYS. NO ONE NEEDS TO GO THROUGH THIS. HOPE YOU HAVE YOUR DAY BY DAY JOURNAL OF CALLS, TIME SPENT ON CALLS, TIME WITH TECHS, YOUR TRIPS TO THE STORE, ETC. I DAZZLED THEM WITH PAPERWORK. THEY DID NOT REALIZE THAT ALL THIS HAD GONE ON. THEY WERE VIEWING IT DEPARTMENT BY DEPARTMENT RATHER THAN THE ENTIRE PICTURE. ONCE THEY SAW ALL THE INVOLVEMENT, THE NEW EQUIPMENT WAS DELIVERED. I PUT UP WITH IT TOO LONG BUT THEY KEPT TELLING ME THAT THIS TIME IT WOULD BE FIXED. RIGHT. GO GIRL.

    I was going to say, “This too shall pass”, but I am loosing confidence that it will! Is this the computer you rely on in Mexico?

      Yes Croft this is our main computer. The main reason we bought the new one was we weren’t so confident in the old one :((

    That is terrible! Did the genius not figure out the problem? From what I read the bookmarks can be backed up over I cloud. It should not take up too much space.

    Good luck !! I hate that they don’t take care of you they way they should.
