Moving on…..
Monday evening after Eric left and Colin had returned from dropping the dogs off at the shelter he almost stepped on this snake. Colin was trying to pick it up with the awning rod.
The photos are small as they were taken with an iPhone. We had to call someone in to handle, kill and remove the snake. It was venomous. No idea how it got on our patio or why but so glad that it is gone.
The next day I had a small dead iguana in one of my flower beds. I walked away and let Colin deal with it.
I guess we were not yet done with critters. It appears that our romaine lettuce must be organic !
Wednesday we awoke to fog, we could barely see the water. It was cool and the temps never quite reached 80F.
An eerie start to the day.
Eric came back to do more work on the RV. This is a custom radiator screen that he has fashioned to protect our side mounted radiator from bouncing rocks as we travel along the road. The other one had fallen off. This should be good for many years to come. He also completed a few other projects. We are close to being done but the bill will be more than I had budgeted for. Eric worked well past dark until 7:15PM.
A few boats came into the bay. So ended yesterday.

was the inverter okay? Good to see you guys yesterday. Sorry we rushed off but he was starving.
The inverter circuit board needs to be replaced. Fingers crossed that it lasts until the new part arrives. I understand that you had to rush off. Funny that neither of us took a photo!
Yikes, that is a nasty snake, do you know what kind it was? Is that the first snake you’ve encountered at the park?
All we could find out that was that it was venomous. The first snake we have ever seen in 18 years of travel within Mexico and certainly the first here by anyone in the park.
Growing up in Maracaibo, Venezuela, the rule was when encountering a snake, to let señor Francisco, the gardener, know and he would go and kill it. He always said that the more colourful the snake, the more venemous it is…
First thing we did was contact the manager who contacted the handyman/gardener. It was his call as to what happened next.
Why not just capture it and return it to nature? JMHO
Not our call. They even buried it so it must have been muy malo.
I don’t like snakes at all. Glad that he didn’t step on it.
He could not believe how close he came to steeping on it. We did not want to kill it but it was not our call. Once we found out how dangerous it was we decided that it was the right decision. I would hate to run into it again in my garden.
