We are turning into party animals

Wednesday was just a bit busy than the previous day. Of course there were still vehicles getting stuck.

Yesterday was the nicest day we have had this year.  Fortunately I was having a happy hour.  We started with three couples and soon ended up with 12 of us in total.

Yes another one! In the end they had to get a tractor to pull him out.  I was too busy to get a photo.

Meet Jim.  Jim and his wife Gail are from Colorado and are part of the caravan that has been staying in RV2 for three nights.

Jim has traveled to Mexico a lot in the past but always by air so he is now enjoying the country from a different perspective.  I received a comment from a blog reader asking me to keep an eye out for Gail and Jim.  She and Jim are cyber friends but have never met in person.  So here is my blog reader whom I have never met, introducing me to her cyber friend and he comes to meet me in person here on the Isla.  How fun.  But it gets more interesting,  Jim and Gail had met Nonie and Wayne recently in Melaque and they happened to be at my happy hour as well as parked beside us.  Small world indeed.  We would have loved to have them join our happy hour but they wanted to get back to their RV as they had been out most of the day on a tour.  Jim is an amazing person in that he is one of the administrators of a Mexican forum, Loco Gringo, based in Akumal and the Riviera Maya area yet he lives in Colorado.

Jenny and Brad, longtime blog readers were also at my happy hour. They are staying in Mazatlan this month. I did a post about them a few weeks ago.

Some folks left and others stayed.

It got rather late and I invited Jenny and Brad to stay for dinner.  Fortunately I had enough kale in my garden for all of us but we did have to split two potatoes  between the four of us.

Just after 11PM I realized how late it was,  so Colin drove them to the lancha while I did the dishes and general clean up.

We always have great happy hours 😀  😎  😛

Contessa, that is really awesome that two of my favorite cyber friends actually met in person. Maybe one day I’ll get to meet so many of you myself! 🙂
