I am getting forgetful

So here we are in current time and making our dinner for tonite.  My spices are in the RV 😳  I recall having the thought of having to empty the spice cabinet but somehow it never got done.  Also my favorite two knives are still in the RV.  If the RV were here in the park we would just go and pick up what we need but the storage yard is still being rebuilt after the flooding last May which resulted in ground water creating damage.  So our RV is across the way for two more months.  Fortunately we had enough to get dinner going.

Here in Holiday Park there are garden plots for rent and we put our name on the list as we now have more free time.  This lovely grassy green plot is now ours for a mere $10.00 per year.  What is even more amazing is that all the garden tools you could want to use, water and hoses and fresh top soil are provided.

It doesn’t look like much but we will see what we can do.  Three different compost areas in the background.  We had a choice of three plots and this one appears to have the most sunshine.

I don’t think that our garden will ever be this perfect.

We were wearing jackets as we walked over to the garden area and saw these young folks coming back from the indoor pool.  I think that when one is young, one does not feel the cold  🙂

It is now Colin’s turn to spend hours on the phone with his aging computer. No need to go into the details but after several hours last evening, he was in worse shape than he started in.  He spent all day today on it also.  Just got a call and Apple upper tier will call us again tomorrow as we are in the middle of dinner prep.  So complicated that they had to take a few hours to figure out the situation.

I was in town today getting my hair done and doing a few other errands including purchasing a few more pieces of clothing to complete my travel wardrobe.  The snowy mountains seemed even larger while in town.

On golden pond.

Wednesday’s sunset taken from inside.

Last evenings sunset.  We are clouded in again today and with showers in the forecast.

All I know it that I will be spending the next two days completing our year end.  Meanwhile we have a great meal to look forward to tonight, fresh tuna steaks.  Yikes, how did it get to be 8:10PM.

It appears that my font has diminished in size.  Sorry but I just can’t deal with it now.  Bear with me, gracias.

The garden plot will be nice now that you have the time. Enjoy your warming weather and hope you get your spices back soon.

Got the spices but still have to put them away. I like to have them alphabetical so I can find what I need fast. Looking forward to playing in the garden. For sure I am going to plant some tomatoes.

  3. That is a cute little garden plot you got. It could yield a lot of veggies and herbs. The snow covered mountains look beautiful in the picture. Hope Colin gets the issues with his computer resolved. It can be very frustrating when things don’t work right, I know.

Yes the snow covered mountains look beautiful but lets hope they don’t melt too fast. Colin was unable to do access his gmail, he had been using the laptop but he has figured it out finally.

you’re not the only one who forgets things in the RV. We had to make a couple of trips back to it to get stuff we forgot. One thing it took us three trips to find it!
    Good luck with your computers.

The computer issue sort of is resolved. Colin had to do it on his own as I was occupied with the taxes, etc. Took him a full day and a bit but he got it done. Bottom line he can now access Gmail from his aging computer but it will need to be upgraded next year.

Looking forward to figuring it all out. Don’t know much about gardening. We won’t be putting too much in this year as we are gone longer than we are here this year.
