A relaxing Monday
Over the years I have come to prefer to ease into the day. That means, to sit at my computer, check the news, read emails and some blogs and just generally sit for at least an hour or more before getting dressed and moving on with the day. Colin on the other hand, gets up and just starts doing things. Wish I had his energy first thing in the morning. I could do something if I had to but if don’t, well, I simply don’t.
Yesterday Colin decided was wine organizing day. We have wine stashed everywhere in the RV and I have no recollection of what I bought nor how many of anything. So while I sat at my computer Colin was pulling wine out. Those boxes in the back left each hold four boxes of 4 liters of wine, about 5 750 ml bottles. Wonderful BC wine that I legally brought across into the US.
He counted how many bottles and I figured out a system to organize everything. This way we get the same variety of wines every 18 days and are not only drinking one type over and over. So I now have 4 sets of 18 bottles inside the RV and the others are somewhere in the bowels of the RV.
Ismael preparing the soil to plant our last two new plants. Colin was going to do it but the soil is so full of roots that you need this special tool to break the ground.
So many palm tree roots in that small area of the flower bed. Looks like I never got a photo of what he planted. Perhaps I will get a photo manana.
This car full of young fellows stopped along the beach just as one of the wandering groups of musicians was passing. The band started to play but the guys mostly ignored them and were busy checking their latest texts.

Yes my wine store. I always end up selling some of it before we leave.
Looks like he’s using a mattock to chop out those palm roots. Here we have had locals sawing palm trees into lumber…very noisy. Quite the wine cellar you have!
Thanks for the name of the tool. Oh yes, that is very loud, we have heard it. For your sake I hope that it does not last too long.
Holy wine stash – I’m envious lol. Have you tried any Mexican wines lately? I hear they are upping their game in that area and trying to grow some decent grapes to try and compete with California
Their are only one or two made in Mexico wines sold in the local stores in Mazatlan and they are not drinkable. Most other wine here are Chilean and very good but extremely pricey. That is why I bring my own.
