Now that would take some explaining. lol..
I think the dog knows that it did something wrong.
Wow on the link to how NOT wash your floors. Amazing they got in out so quickly. Good job, guys.
I was surprised at how well the entire event was documented.
Now that has got to put a smile on your face!
🙂
Reminds me of Elmer (My father-in-law) except he didn’t need a dog to help, either time. (Yep, more than once!) Two times this avid fisherman managed to roll his car, boat-trailer, and boat into the Missouri river.
When people tried to help his response both times was “Forget the car, SAVE THE BOAT!”
(Frankly his two-seat,1970-something TerryBass whip-staff-steer boat, which has been parked in the weeds on our place for 10 years now, isn’t that great a boat. I’d have opted for saving the car. But then again I’m not much of a fisherman. . .)
Love, love, love this story. Whatever are you going to do with that boat?
Well. . . Elmer has aged far beyond the ability to use the boat, or even travel back down here from his midwest assisted living arraignment to look at it, but as long as he is still able ask, during the daily calls with The Wife, we will let it sit out there. After that it will probably go to a charity.
I think that that is just perfect that you keep it there and let him know that it is there should he need it 🙂 I’m sure that that helps to keep him going, not to mention reliving his past.
