Spectacular sunset
Last night Mother Nature welcomed us home. Simply delightful. We truly missed sunsets while in Europe. I’m sure there are some but there is not much open space from which to view them. How very fortunate we are here in Canada to have all the space that we do. Remember my photos from the past few weeks where everyone is on top of each other living in apartments and everything is so very crowded. What must they think what they come to Canada to visit plus the fact that you need to drive to get anywhere because of the distance. Very few walk to the grocery store on a daily basis. So very happy to be here. I need to add that this is a reflective sunset, the camera is facing south, the sun set to the right of these photos. Bit by bit we are getting over our jet lag.

We do love the wide open spaces we have here in Canada. And of course all the wonderful sunsets we can enjoy. Love your water reflections.
Thanks George.
I so enjoyed your travels and experiences. But I really like our wide open spaces here in the west. The East in the USA is way too crowded for me.
Yes, especially New York, which is where the immigrants first landed and began to construct layers of apartments as they were used to back home.
Give me land, lots of land and the starry skies above…don’t fence me in! That’s us here in rural Canada. Lovely sunset and welcome home.
A massive difference between there and here. Colin and I figured that the Europeans have grown up in tight quarters and are simply used to it. Whereas when we go to Europe we truly feel fenced in.
Yes, we are very lucky we get to live in Canada – for so many reasons. We met a couple from France who is now immigrating to Vancouver Island over the winter. They are blown away by nature here
One European from Germany that we spoke to on the cruise ship said that he knew that all we did in Canada was fish and hunt.
Glad you are enjoying being back home. You live in such a lovely spot!
From what we saw on your blog you had a nice and active trip. Yes jet lag is hardest when you return. It does mess you up for a good week.
