A new trend in decorating
As you know part of Colin’s job is to take photos of very high end homes, usually for the builders. So he sees what the latest is. When I saw these photos I just had to share them. Personally I can’t image having my bathtub in my bedroom.

Love the pictures of this bedroom, it is so huge almost as big as our home. Now a bathtub with that view would be wonderful.
I would prefer that the bathtub be in the bathroom where you can still have a full window wall with a view. I don’t like seeing it in the bedroom. We saw a home yesterday that has the tub in the bathroom facing the lake view and the bed facing the view in the next room. Much classier.
Well, have to say, that is weird. Like some degree of privacy, the shower is all open to bedroom too!
I agree with you Dolores.
Well, if a couple have a domestic spat, one can sleep in the tub!
Yeah Dee, you have survived Hurricane Dorian. How many hurricanes does that make that you and Beach have not evacuated and have survived? I love the idea of one half of the couple sleeping in the tub as needed.
Seems a bit weird to me – would rather have two of those beautiful chairs to enjoy the view but would definitely keep the shower.
Hey Sandy! Exactly. And the show could have a small wall between the bedroom and it.Remember this is not just for this home but is become the norm!!
Seeing both the tub and the shower in the bedroom makes me wonder where the toilet is? No, thanks.
Makes me wonder if that fancy chair is the toilet. . . Lol
Welcome to the comment section of my blog. Love your sense of humour.
Sorry Rebecca and Linda, I managed to get my replies mixed up. But I think that you can figure it out. Love to have you here Rebecca and you make me laugh Linda re the toilet. Wait until you see what I saw yesterday. The perfect tub/view situation.
Actually the toilet is around behind the head of the bed and is boring!!
I can’t stand that decorating trend, who wants their bedroom to look like a hotel? And open to the lake? On view for all once the sun sets
