Two more things need to be repaired
Colin was surprised this morning when he opened the curtains. He recalls hearing a snap at some point last evening.
We spent most of the day waiting for a mobile window repair guy. The crack is about 18 – 24 inches. We have a $500.00 deductible for window replacement back in Canada with our insurance policy. Does anyone know if ICBC will replace a window in the US? Anyway it turns out that the fellow will come by tomorrow morning now. We both spent a good deal of time researching parts including radiators plus some what ifs.
Debbie and Dave are full timers currently on hold at an RV hook up at Freightliner. They have some work that needs doing. We had a lovely visit and learned that Freightliner is open tomorrow on the holiday. We wrongly assumed that they would be closed tomorrow. Colin will be sure to check in there early tomorrow morning to see if they can do something for us quicker than the other place and if they can find us a new radiator.

Fingers crossed that things work out at Freightliner tommorow! Not sure about ICBC fixing a window in the states, we had one fixed years ago in Alberta with no problem, but I would think they should.
Thanks for you input. I will look into it tomorrow.
Hopefully you can get your troubles fixed quickly and reasonably. Nice to meet fellow RV’ers and pass a bit of time. Colin is so handy!! Stay safe!
Lovely to hear from you. I just wish that Colin could fix the radiator :). I hope the rest of your journey south is pleasant.
The glass is covered under comprehensive not collision so likely your deductible may be lower? Might be worth it to check and ICBC is open every day to start claims so you might want to give them a call before it is fixed
We actually just guessed that as a deductible. I will call and check tomorrow.
Yes ICBC will replace the windshield in the USA. We started a claim once but found the cost of the windshield replacement was actually under $300 and did not come up to our $300 deductible. Mind you, we had a Class C.
No idea how much our glass will cost. First two places we called were not interested in helping us as our RV is not in their system.
Contessa, we had a broken windshield in Arizona a few years ago and icbc told us today get it repaired and or replaced and keep the bill to give to them when we got home. We did so and got a full refund minus our deductible immediately.
Thank you for this. We finally found someone who can get the glass but it is 5 -7 days away. However they can do it in March in Quartzite when we return that way.
Hope you are managing to get a few things taken care of today. We left this morning and are now in San Carlos for a week. Will write about trip later.
No we did not really get anything resolved today but then Tuesday was always the first get it down day re the holiday weekend. Looking forward to your blog post.
