Marjorie and Bob had the entire park over about 9:30AM Christmas morning to have a very special cup of hot chocolate.
Hey both Santa and Rudolph made it.
It looks like the secret ingredient is Peppermint schnapps. Mucho gracias Bob. Very yummy.
We then returned back to our RV to find that Santa had made a visit.
Just a few fun gifts. It was fortunate that I had purchased a a few items while in the US as I was not able to get out to shop locally. I did pick up two items from a beach vendor. The tall teal candle light hold and a hot pink quail. I guess I will get a better photo for you in the new year. Colin scored fifteen pair of new socks so keep an eye out for those. Colin got me a lovely new chapeau and three more Mexican sun dresses as well as that bottle of Kahlua.
Over the years it has become a tradition here in the park to exchange Christmas cards and give a small gift, a bag of Cheezies, a few chocolates or nuts. This year I gave each couple or site a string of tiny LED Starry Sting lights. Perfect for a vase, bottle or pretty glass. One year I baked cookies for everyone. Last year we gave Cheezies. One of our gifts this year was a tiny bottle of special beer salt. Fun stuff.
One very large cruise ship in port, now heading for Puerto Vallarta.
Colin noticed a wee visitor climbing a leg of our water stand.
Shortly before we were going to plate our Christmas dinner we had more surprise visitors. I have always wanted to have carollers show up at my door and here they were. What a great group they were. I hope that this becomes a tradition. Thank you Ben, Richard, Cindy, Pam, Vic and Brianna. Hope to see you next Christmas. Can I request two songs for next year 🙂
To the left of the shrimp was our traditional potato casserole with cheese on top and next to the that a carrot dish covered with stuffing ( we have been enjoying these two dishes for 32 years now ), I only make it for Christmas. Then we had left over carrot salad and Japanese salad. I think there was also Caesar salad but I had enough on my plate as it was. A perfect end to Christmas Day accompanied by an extra special bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Mucho gracias L & A 🙂
Senor Frog made it right to the front door. He was gone the next morning. Maybe he was looking for the girls to come and play with him.
Hope you had a good beach day Santa. You deserved it after flying around the world in such a short period of time.
This post catches me up to real time. Stayed tuned for the latest news tomorrow which makes me sad.
Great pictures: from the hot chocolate through the Christmas presents, Carolers and dinner and that handsome Santa having a beer on the beach after a busy night. Loved them all. Rex had a beer on Christmas morning with his breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuits, chip beef gravy and hot fruit salad. It is his birthday so he celebrates it with a Christmas beer and our kids celebrate their Dad with a beer, too.
Happy belated birthday Rex. We did enjoy Christmas Day. New Years Eve and Day not so much, raining and at least 1 -2 inches more to come.
