Going home to Canada right now

Our stop for tonight is the Walmart in Omak, Washington.  Based on how fast everything is changing and how we will only be an hour away from the Canadian border we have decided to simply cross now.  We will stay somewhere near the border but I will have no data so I am publishing this just minutes before we cross into Canada.  You will next hear from me tomorrow.  We should be home by 10:30AM when the real work begins. Unloading 😎

Thankful for the traveling mercies you have had up to this point. Hope the border crossing was uneventful and you find your home in good order. Because we got out of Mexico so fast and on a week-end we had no water in the house when we arrive at 3:30am Sunday. We managed just fine as we had bottled water on the shelf and our son carried buckets of water from a neighbor for flushing the commode. Our son-in-law had shopped for groceries so our pantry was well stocked. It was not fun but we were warm, had food to eat but no cooking was done! We will begin day 5 tomorrow in our 14 day quarantine.

  2. Yay! Welcome back – never been so glad to see you back in Canada

It’s such a relief to know you are making it home OK. Good job! Please, do take your time unloading. We don’t want your injury to become any worse.

ps. If you haven’t checked Rae’s blog lately, that would be a good thing to do while sheltering in place. She’s publishing often right now.
