We had a very special visitor today…..
…Mother Nature graced us with a visit.
I was opening the blinds as the sun was setting and saw that we had a heron on our beach.
All the heron photos were taken by me through a window and ever so slowly so as to not frighten the bird away.
Shortly thereafter I spotted this glorious sunset. I sent Colin down to the beach to take these for me. What you see is exactly as Mother Nature meant it to be seen. No photoshop here at all.

I see a heron every morning when I’m walking but he never sticks around long enough for a photo so good on you for getting such good ones! The sunset photos are also beautiful … isn’t it great that our sunrises and sunsets are so beautiful we don’t need to do any altering to them 🙂
So true about just taking the glorious photos that we can and post them. Gosh I might go thru sunset withdrawal this winter. At least you can simple look at the heron and enjoy its beauty.
