Now that this tree has become so large it needs an annual pruning. Colin did this over the past weekend. The day before his Covid vaccination and the day after. Good thing it was mostly done the day prior re his sore arm.
Coin had to rent a 14 foot ladder in order to reach the top branches with his extended cutter.
The twins were having a great time chewing all of the cut pieces.
The last cut.
They do love to snuggle together for their naps.
This tree branch become stuck here during the lake melt. Various birds are enjoying just hanging out on the tree limb.
We love our location here on the lake.
Exactly! The girls have discovered their bark voice and are using it to the utmost. It has become a game with them, who came bark the loudest. Also now that we have kayaks passing by they have become rather barky. I am working hard at curbing their vocal expression.
We have to keep up the fight, each one of us and that includes wearing your mask and social distancing.

We have that exact playpen for Zoey! We are going to try it out today!
That will be a huge place for Zoey. Put some towels on the bottom just in case plus it makes it cozier.
Nice to get the outdoor chores done before it gets too hot.
Mixing Lemon Juice in Water in a Spray Bottle works well along with the stern “No” will stop the barking.
Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
Water yes but not the lemon juice, what if it gets in their eyes.
Colin is in shorts I noticed so it must be really nice weather wise. The lake looks great as usually and the doxies are cuddly cute. They’ve grown quite a bit.
Colin has been wearing shots most of the winter, nothing new for him. It was one of our first nice days but then the temps went cool again.
I love the last picture 🙂
Happy to put a smile on your face.
Contessa, they are still darn cute! They form a little heart when sleeping nose the nose.
Thanks for noticing the heart, that is why I took the photo.
