Can you see a long nose just coming out from under the blanket? A new pastime is hiding under the blankets that we have protecting the various dog beds.
This is supposed to be their bed on the chesterfield / sofa but we are not ready to let them up there yet. We let them use this a few times but they really prefer their large wrestling bed. Yes they are very spoiled.
You will recall that we have been without a landline phone for close to six weeks. We paid to have new conduit installed and Colin helped with the labour. Our cost was $200.00. These are the two Telus fellows assigned to pull the phone line through the conduit and hook it up to our house. They were fooling around and by accident tossed their electrical tape in the lake. Colin saved the day with a rake.
They worked from 9AM until 1PM and we now have a working phone. All of this was covered by Telus. I am very happy with our persistence to get this job completed.
Did I ever tell you about this huge dog bed that Colin brought home after puppy class one night? They love it and we call it the wrestling bed. So now we have this new huge bed as well as the balcony bed with a view, the fireplace bed for heat and their crate. Oh and today we added an office bed so they can be close to us when we are on the computer.
This particular dog toy belonged to our very first two pups that we got in 2010 and 2011, Cloii and Channel. It is so very sweet and touching that Ciela was embracing it as she napped.
I don’t even want to talk about how our province is bringing in new restrictions involving travel. If we all do our part and get vaccinated then just maybe we will have some fun this summer.
We have to stay positive and maintain hope.

I still hope that you get to visit this spring but with out new travel restrictions, it just might not happen.
The phone guys remind me of my younger years at Verizon.Your cartoons are so subtle and spot on.
Glad you continue to enjoy my posts.
Always nice when everything works the way it should.
The pups are definitely spoiled.
The cartoons say it all.
Be Safe and Enjoy the warmer weather.
It’s about time.
Glad you are enjoying my graphics. These pups probably will be the most spoiled of our six. They will be our last ones.
Cartoons are spot on. Those pups are so cute it hurts me. 🙂
Thank you Jim. Yes the pups can be heart wrenching and then in the next moment frustrating 🙂
That’s great news about your landline! I don’t want to talk about the travel lock down either, we really want to go to Calgary and see our son and his family if and when we ever get vaccinated, but it looks like that is off the table now.
I am beginning to wonder if you are ever going to get your Christmas gifts. Are you taht young that you haven’t been vaccinated yet??
