Home Sweet Home
We arrived safely. The girls traveled very well with no incidents. In fact they slept most of the way. We drove non stop other than a 20 minute break for them to do their business.
All is well here at home, in fact there is a breeze that is blowing most of the smoke away at the moment. Tomorrow will be a different story.
Our job now is to unload the RV, put stuff away and do tons of laundry. And of course clean out the RV. We are allowed to park the RV out front for only two days so we will be busy.
I will be back soon with blogs on Banff and the fire activity we saw today. In the end we only had to do one detour.
It was a great two weeks away but it is great to be home.

OK. Glad you are home and have had some times times on your trip, but I’m rather vague about where you really are, and hope that you are safe as can be with only some bad smoke. It’s even come down to TX….
I just posted where we live, hope this helps.
What a blessing to have arrived home safely. I’m happy to hear the trip was uneventful.
We are also, jsut kept on driving and only stopped twice in 7 hours. The girls are wonderful travellers.
I enjoyed all your postings from your travels very much. Too bad the fires and smoke affected your stays but the good thing was that your two doggies had a taste of travel and you are assured that there will be no problem traveling with them. Happy belated anniversary!
Nice to hear from you Marlene. Don’t forget to check back, I stop have three more posts to finish about Banff and the trip home through the fires. The girls love the RV. They fall asleep within 15 minutes. They slept 5 out of 6 hours of traveling and only got up because we decided to pee them. Thanks for the anniversary wishes.
Good to know you are safely home. Thanks for taking time for the update during your busy unpacking time.
You asked and I replied. Always great to come home but so much work unloading, putting away and all that laundry.
