I am rather worn out

Just a few days ago this couple ( from the back row ) only here for a few days tried to catch some rays but Mother Nature had other plans. A few days later the fog was gone and we are finally enjoying the Isla weather as it should be. Too bad we have to leave. Definitely an abnormal winter in many ways.

It has been a crazy few days getting ready. No matter how much you plan, certain little things crop up to take your time. Including a very special visit with good friends last evening at sunset and then another visit this morning. Sorry Barb & Don that the timing was off but we will have all of next winter to visit. So happy that you will be close to us. The girls did get to the beach yesterday and today and were very enthusiastic. Photos to follow in the days ahead. Colin hopes to get them to Amaitlan for a wee walk before we head north in the morning.

This past weekend was a long weekend here in Mexico. Lots of visitors. Not sure if this guy is fishing or golfing:)

Aunty Karen gave this very special weiner bowl to the girls last summer.  I have seen them both drink from it at the same time. Such a long pink tongue. This is the first time that I had a camera at hand to catch at least one of them drinking.  They really like it, the height is just right. For some reason Carlie is standing on the ramp at the same time.

We had the yummiest pizza the other night.

Mexico has been doing very well with Covid. We picked a good time to come but we are happy with our decision to be cautious. Still wearing our masks and will all through the US.

First car carrier we have seen this season.

My dark chocolate girl.

It took a good deal of power washing to get this carpet clean again.

You can see the clean area where the carpet lay and the dirt all around it. So much dust around here but then we are in a beach community.

Loving the waves the past few weeks.

High tide.

So much to write about and many more photos to share but this week has sped past. I will post all the photos in the days to come.

But best I get to bed so we can be ready to roll in the morning.

hope you have a very uneventful trip home. Once past the first section of road, the rest goes from okay to good. Expect higher tolls in Sinaloa and people with ropes across the road. They are happy with 20 pesos. It is getting hot here, expecting 90 degree days over the coming weekend. Keep in touch.

Contessa, I figured U amigos were busy packing for the return home, I imagine how tiring those performing tasks can leave U. Do me a favor & on the way home, please stop in California & pick up some cuties we have for U… there are 2 Canadian geese stranded in the complex where I live, they are gorgeous, they look healthy, but it looks like they dropped from the flock & now the poor things scan the skies for their friends & family.:-(.

Have a wonderful trip back home.
