Some progress

I was supposed to go to my chiropractor last Friday but there was a huge accident near the Cadet camp in Vernon with two fatalities that blocked the highway for most of the day so we cancelled.

Today I finally was able to see Dr. Kalashnikoff.  If was a struggle to get facedown on her table but I did so with some effort. My head was tilted down to the right and my shoulders and hips were tilted up on the right side. Long story short my ribs on the right side were rotated internally to the right causing a great deal of my pain. Also my trapezius on my right side was very disturbed. There was also damage to the C2 on the left side which would help explain my difficulty in taking deep breathes. Basically recovery can take up to 12 weeks. Today was day 14 from the fall.  I am planning to recover sooner than later.

When I got off the table I was able to take deeper breathes and the pain was almost 50% gone. It felt like my body had relaxed and released some stress. I slept for most of the afternoon. I will need at least two more treatments but I welcome them.  I could not go sooner as I had to be able to get onto the table on my own.

Great you had some improvement. Smile and have happy thoughts of sitting on the beach ?. You’ll be ready, only a couple of months until a salt breeze brings that smile to both you (maybe the four of you ? ).
