It will be beautiful…..

…if it ever gets completed.

We had workers Wednesday morning.

This is what things looked like at the end of the day Wednesday.

...and still looked like at the end of the day Thursday. Nothing visible was done.

We did have a meeting Thursday with Ron, our stain glass window artist. That project is coming along very nicely.

There is lots to do in every room of the house but most trades are waiting for the add a room to be completed so they have the completed space to work in.

The girls meanwhile are becoming more comfortable with the house and even relaxed enough to have a wrestling match. Carmeh seems to be totally recovered from her eye surgery and is back to normal.

Caeli, taking a nap with her 'toy' which is really just the hat off an old stuffed Santa. She carries it around with her and likes to bury it.

Yesterday, Friday, the windows for the add a room arrived, some the correct size but most not.  The day was spent moving all the posts and beams that had been put in on Wednesday in order to try and make the windows fit.  Needless to say only 50% of the room is completed.  Fortunately I have 3 fellows coming to work on the add a room tomorrow, Sunday, so hopefully the room will be ready for the stream of trades coming in starting Tuesday.

What there is of the room is perfect, much more beautiful than I had envisioned.  The forecast is for 30% chance of showers sunday evening:((

Not sure if I should share with you that dinner last night was purely liquid!!!

I see from the pics your decision to go high ceilings in the living room and thus a higher roof line on the deck. I am sure you will be totally delighted with this decision when you move in. It will look and feel like inside a cathedral! Lookin’ good. KenB
