Sunday was a day of rest. I really truly laid low and my body was happy. Colin was putting up a sun umbrella for me when…..
...this critter flew out of the umbrella. We were frantically trying to not let the girls catch it as they are allergic to spider bites.
I think we goofed!! By the time Colin had dug up my old seeds and soil and I had pulled out my info, it appears that we had not quite reached the amount of days for germination, hence the empty look to my seed flower garden.
So Colin very carefully removed the old soil and put in new soil and seed by seed he planted the new rows. Hey, it has worked for me for 3 years but now he is in charge!!! Let us see how this plays out over the next few weeks.
It really was a quieter day and I did relax much more. I even turned down an invite to a happy hour. Norma says it went till after 9PM….do you think she is a party animal? Actually I think that they are just a having a good relaxing time here on the Isla.
It was a fun day sitting and watching the people come and go. A plant fellow from Villa Union dropped by and I just had to buy about 6 or 7 plants from him. Later I saw this pass by…..
Not often you see a pulmonia drive past on the beach.
This is Colin returning from a pre sunset beach walk with the girls.
I almost regret missing happy hour as it was a spectacular sunset Sunday evening.
What do you think???
I have posted late in the day 2 days in a row but who knows what I will do tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Rocmoc….WOW!!!! Good to know. It actually jumped out of the watering can at me yesterday and looked like it was going to get me!!
Miss the sunsets , thanks for sharing!
It is a Wolf Spider. We have them here in AZ also. The bite will not make you sick but it will hurt. They can be very aggressive and chase you, LOL! Always hate to come up on one on the ground at home because half the time I know it is going to fight back. Road runners love to eat them. They reproduce easily so keep an eye out for the rest of the family.
