Kite Surfing on the lsla

Yesterday was so windy that it was time for some beach action.

Yesterday this car stops right out front and starts pulling things out. Are they setting up a tent in the wind?

No it looks like a surfer of some sort. He needs help getting the kite up.

Finally up in the air. Next he walks the kite into the water.

In the blink of an eye he is up on his board. How did he do that? I was watching and missed it.

...and he was off.....very very fast down the beach towards Estrella. Someone in the car was chasing him along the beach. We never did see how far he got.

Always something to see here on Stone Island.

  1. Rod Williams says:

How come he didn’t stick around and show you some tricks? A few years ago we were on Maui, and watched people with those outfits for hours on end. It’s pretty impressive what they can accomplish with a kite.

  2. We enjoyed so many of then In San Carlos at the Soggy Peso Bar is really great site to see.
