CHINESE PROVERB

…so how busy am I?  Well between taking the computer classes, learning the camera and iphoto, I have just a few other things to attend to:

~launching this blog and dealing with a whole next set of problems.  By the way guys, the idea is for you to comment here and not comment via email!!!!!!!

~planning my Dad’s 80th birthday in Edmonton on June 16th!  Don’t tell him as it is a surprise!

~trying to figure out why the font size keeps changing…..sigh!!!!!!

~finding time to load the RV for the trip, never mind deciding what day we leave here. Oh yeah, we are travelling with the entire zoo!

~biding on something on Ebay for the first time in my life and figuring out what I am doing….if you must know, it was toys for the parrot. She is fussy and prefers McDonalds 2008 Madagascar Return to Africa talking toys.

~watering all my plants plus my neighbors 20 million pots…not so bad really cuz all it does in the sunny Okanagan is rain!!!!!!!!

~worry about my plants in Mexico possibly fading fast…..oh well…it was a gamble..but still..my poor plumeria plants….it took years to find them…and that one perfect hibiscus!!

~wondering whether to push myself to make the perfect healthy dinner or just order the pizza…guess what we did???

~waking yesterday morning….there goes the font again….wondering why my front door was wide open…no wonder we were freezing in the house. Such a safe place we live in!

~not sure why the door was open (hope it was the wind) but I do do know for sure that my husband never came home  that night…..yup, a first.  Poor Colin, he was on the computer at 8AM and worked till 2PM when the sun started to appear, so he drove off to West Kelowna where he worked till 1 Am when he just crashed on the sofa in the show home before getting up a few hours later at 4Am for the sunrise shots.   He got home about 10Am just as I was leaving for a computer class, followed by 80th birthday shopping.

Well I no longer have to worry about my intake of vino blanco versus my productivity!

Colin has waited over a month to get the perfect shots for a Vancouver client re a new project in West Kelowna. I think it was worth an all nighter! The project is called Waterfront.  This is one of the sunset shots.

A question for Colin. Did he adjust the white balance to get some of the effect in this beautiful picture?
