I had a reservation to go see my family in June but cancelled it today.
My mom got back from the hospital late last night and the bottom line diagnosis is that “she is a mess”. When I specifically asked questions, both Mom and Dad were very vague. When I asked ‘what is next’ they did not know. The only thing Mom could say is that any surgery would kill her or so said the MD in ER plus he is the one who said she was a mess.
So do I go or stay? They are seeing their family Dr. on Monday. I may wait and see how that goes. Meanwhile I am going to try and make an appt. to have a telephone conversation with their MD. I do have three personal medical appts between now and May 28th, one of which I have been waiting for, for over a year so I can’t just rush away. Things always look better in the morning. So I will decide my plan of action then.
I did not know that Colin had taken this shot of us relaxing a few days ago. I was just going thru the camera right now to see what I had for you all. Looks just the same right now except Colin is working. However, I do have the glass of vino at my side.
I met this family the other day after my vein injection walk. FYI, the rash I started yesterday calmed right down. Maybe I have another food allery? Can you see the 3rd baby between Mom's feet?
This was at the egg addling area I had previously walked at, so I was very happy to see that these had survived.
Saw this guy out on the lake yesterday. Pretty fancy for Duck Lake. Maybe he was just practicing for another lake. He had 3 lines out.
Yesterday, Yves from Fibre New came to touch up the many marks and scatches on my leather desk chair. It looks just like new. A great deal for $70.00. Not sure if you can see but Colin sits on a ball chair. FYI that is our infrared sauna on the left.
Our window seat cushion is finished. It looks great and blends in perfectly in our new home plus Carmeh has claimed it for herself. The eight dining room chairs have also been redone and look perfect. The fellow forgot to make the toss cushions but no rush. Colin and I certainly chose the right fabric while in Mazatlan. Cost $24.00 CAD.
Hasta manana!
