No not the drink, but the group. That is who we went to see on Saturday night.
In addition to all the special events Mission Hill Winery sponsors over the year they always do 4 summer concerts.
Colin was hired to take photos of the Gipsy Kings concert and of the LeAnn Rimes performance. The first event this year was Chris Botti who had also performed last season so no photos were necessary. Saturday night we were invited guests.
It was the perfect evening to sit back and enjoy. We are sitting at the top of the concert bowl by choice. I did not want to chance my hip in any way possible by walking down any further. The grass looked steep in places. The winery certainly lends itself to an event like this.
The group was excellent and so was the sound. I have to say it was a perfect evening sitting back and sipping an ice cold Sauvignon Blanc. I saw the odd boat and sailboat out on Lake Okanagan. After the first three songs Colin put his camera down and just sat beside me and enjoyed. It was a real treat for both of us.
The end!

Contessa, you were so color coordinated in your picture……take a second look or maybe you already have. The colors in your dress are repeated in the color of the cane, the walker chair, the wrap on the chair and your necklace. Lovely outfit.
Sandy…..well it wasn’t totally planned but I knew the blue in the dress would go with the walker and then when I found the lime green wrap I just knew I was in business.
George….it was a perfect evening for my first one out in a long while.
Ruth…..you would have loved it. It was a sold put performance.
Connie….gracias amiga.
Dolores…welcome to the comment section of my blog. Hope to see you here more often. My only complaint was that the concert ended way too soon:)
Colleen…Thank you. If felt so good to be dressed up for such great place.
Good Luck Duck…..that cane is actually full of pink roses!
Chris….you make me blush! Hope to see you soon.
Cheryl…I was feeling great that night.
Lynda…you will love it, I promise.
Sound like a wonderful evening!
Glad you enjoyed.
So glad that you were able to get out and enjoy the evening. Looks like there was a good turnout and I really love the backdrop with the mountains and lake.
