Some good news
Dad seems to be thinking very clearly and over that hump. It had to have been the pain meds he was on. He finally was able to stand long enough to have a shower and is doing just a bit of walking with a walker and a physiotherapist. I think having someone spend Sunday night with him allowed him to get some rest and start to rebuild.
I went to see my physio guy yesterday and I am doing very well. Everything is healing as it should and I seem to have full movement of the new hip. I have been given permission to walk without a cane in the house if I am careful. The walker and crutches can be retired. But I still have to exercise daily, do stairs daily and lots of walking and of course the pool therapy every two days. Lots of work. No wonder my desk is looking neglected.
Colin started a new job last night, the photography of a 12,000 sq ft home. Kinda makes our place look tiny.

So glad to hear the news about your Dad. It’s so hard to be so far away and recovering as you are. 12,000 sq feet!!! I can’t imagine how huge that is. They must need to the pictures so they can find their way back to the front door. lol
Good news about your Dad, pain meds often lead to problems in the elderly. And Good News about your hip, you’ll soon be dancing.
I like the saying THIS TOO SHALL PASS – sounds like things are getting better for you all!
Great that you dad is improving and you are too, soon you be heading south, if you can get you paper work caught up.
That’s good news about your Dad.
I think I’d sooner photograph a 12,000 square foot house than have to clean it.
