Actually this was not taken from the beach but from our beach front site.
A lot of work to bring the net in.
But they do have the catch of the day.
I would say this guy has been beached.
Yet another.
This sign has been up for 2 weeks now but has only shown the yellow flag. Who is responsible to change the flag? I have no idea but you can be sure I will keeping track.
The painting on the side of Casa Flora is complete. Looks good.
What is this creature? A huge bee? Notice its tracks in the sand.
A new business between a restaurant and a private home.
They are opening the cocos and letting them dry in the sun.
Then the workers sit in the hot sun and remove the dried coconut from the shell. A huge amount of effort to produce coconut for sale. I have no idea if it is sold locally or made for export but regardless it is very labor intensive.
We have had two days of overcast and cool weather. 75F is considered winter conditions in these parts 😥 I leave you with my final shot of the day, taken from an email from a friend. It is sure to put a smile on your face.
