You are so right. We on the west coast had such a warm winter, although we have had several frosts recently. I need it to quit frosting so I can plant my cilantro lol.
It won’t be long now and your herbs will be planted. So lucky to be living on the right coast.
Yep it is so true.
Sadly it is true and even sadder that you had to experience it all this year. But the good news is that the snow is melting.
The variety of climates we have in this country, even within a single province is staggering. I’ve been camping in 40 below cold in Quebec in February and the same date many years later was standing in shorts and a tee shirt on a white sand beach with palm trees (and pouring rain, granted) on Vancouver Island. I’ve had warm winters and cold, damp and dry, sunny and overcast. I still think the best place to winter for Canadians is Mexico. 🙂
…and with global warming things are going to change even more. Even here in Mexico out winter has been unusually warm and we have had rain in February and March which is not usual.
Should be interesting when we get to Nova Soctia in just over a weeks time. Our daughter got snowed in again this past weekend!

You two are so brave to be doing what you are. I applaud you. I could not deal with being in Edmonton mid winter. All I can say is that your daughter and son in law ar going to enjoy their vacation while you enjoy your grandchildren mostly indoors. Looking forward to your posts.
Same in the western US.
Marty the world is changing so fast. I never thought I would see so many changes in my life time. Can you imagine what our grandparents would think?
