Something to be sad about & Nature talks to us
We awoke this morning to clouds and cool temps around 72F. I could smell rain in the air. About an hour later….
Shortly thereafter the dark smoky sky resumed and the heat started to climb but the difference was the added 35 – 45 % humidity. Don’t know how you folks in the East manage 😥 Forecast is for rain showers and thundershowers. So far today, we have had no thundershowers and we pray that we won’t. Not only for the environment but also for Carmeh. Yes I do have a Thunder Shirt for her but of late she struggles double hard to get out of it and because of her back issues we are not using it.
The following is what makes me very sad….just found this online.
I also found this online and it is certainly worth you watching this video ( just under 2 minutes ) if it is the only one you watch this week. It is narrated by Julia Roberts and gives another point of view as to what is happening on our earth in these trying times. If you care about life and this world please watch this 2 minute video.

A story full of power today…
I’m glad you had some rain, it just spat a bit here on the coast…
With the rain came humidity (:
This video is a powerful one, isn’t it? Very striking……
Isn’t it though. I really hope many of my readers watch it.
I think some more rain there would help control the wildfires.
I agree and I hope it comes sooner than later.
We were in Las Vegas a few years ago and it was HOT HOT and there was this woman walking down the street with her little dog walking behind her. The after thought was we should have stopped her and told her to take off her shoes and walk barefoot on the street. We will always regret not speaking up–If we ever see something like that again we WILL speak up for the dog.
We are in area getting good rains and everything is so green. Wish we could send it up your way to help with the fires. Keeping the fire fighters in our prayer for their safety and continued strength to keep at it. Sharon
Not sure what I would have done in that situation. If it was that hot I would likely have spoken to the woman.
Thanks for the prayers, we need them.
The video is right on. I saw the poor bear in the picture and it made me think of all the other wildlife that won’t make it. But that’s nature.
We hope the rains continue and the fires stop. We’re thinking about you.
Yup it is. Poor bear but as you say that is nature but really in many of these fires it is man’s fault.
Oh, that was a really great video!!!
Glad you watched it Dolores. Tell your friends.
