Sometimes you have to look way up
Colin spied this the other day as he was heading into town. I never did ask what made him look up. I just now called him to ask. With the new car his cell comes thru ??? bluetooth, I have no idea what that means. All I know is that he can answer the phone while driving by pushing a button on the steering wheel and all the speakers pick up my voice and his voice. It is much clearer than when we spoke via his cell while driving the HHR, hands free of course 😉 He says he saw a lady looking up taking pictures with an iPhone. So the other day we drove by and I had my trusty Canon SX280HS with me.
Colin thanks you all for his birthday greetings. Considering that I had cancelled my plans for a grand party of 65 friends because of Carmeh, I think we had a great party. I mean how often does one turn 65 😛

We have quite a few osprey nest around here. Have not taken pictures of them for a few years, so nice to see.
It would be interesting to know how high up those nests are?
Osprey! How cool. I have a canon Rebel T3i but bought a $300 telephoto lens just so I could take good animal pictures lol. Much better than people.
Telephoto lenses are great if you are willing to pack all that weight around.
New car? How did I miss that? What did he get?
I twas in my July 12th post.

Beautiful! I love to see the osprey, my dad has a nest a on the railway bridge that you can see out the front of the house. Every year they come back to nest. Lovely shots of the babies.

Thanks Ruth. That would be wonderful for your Dad to just sit and watch especially with a pair of binoculars. I’m sure he looks forward to their return every year. Nice to have nature so close.
Very cool picture! I have bluetook in my little VW. Once I turn on the key it activates my phone. I’m listening to music and I get a call, the music stops and it rings, I push the button and say hello and talk hands free while going down the road. I love it. My laptop doesn’t have bluetooth and I wanted to transfer photos from the phone without using a cable. I bought a “dongle” for 8 dollars. It’s like a USB and it makes my laptop bluetooth accessible.
I think you’re going to be discovering all kinds of stuff on the new car. How fun!
Thanks about the photos!
That is exactly how Colin’s phone works. I drove the car the other day on my own and I love it. I want one too. How cool is it that you start the car just by pushing a button, lock and unlock the doors without a key, etc
