The next day, a quiet Thursday…

…not quite!  As I said we have been a tad busy!  The day started out bright and early with the RV repairman knocking on our door.  We’ve been waiting since mid-November for him to reappear.  Remember when we arrived on Nov. 1, we had managed to get hit by a large rock on the road in…well now it was time for the repairs.

Colin had been quoted 1000 pesos to repair 2 basement doors...

So for $83.00CAD we got the underside lip painted on 4 doors including body work on one.

...the paint color is not a perfect match but it may eventually fade to the original color but to redo just the painting next winter to get a better match is only $40.00.

Our neighbor Carl has an almost antique washing machine that he travels with.  As I was getting behind in my hand washing I asked him if we could use it just the once as it would save me hours scrubbing in the kitchen sink.

While I was working the lever to swish the clothes I noticed that Caeli seemed rather intrigued by something along the wall….please not another scorpion!

...a bat...

Carl checked it out in detail.....yuck!!

While Colin continues swishing and rinsing and ringing the laundry the neighbors decide to start happy hour early, the vendors decided to visit en masse and so goes a typical Thursday.

...finally I joined in with the happy hour group!!! So ends a quiet Thursday in RV1.....I think we are becoming just a wee bit rowdy!!!
