Was it a dream?
I woke up late Wednesday afternoon from my cold induced nap and looked out the window! Que Pasa!!
I watched as a mare and her foal were led into the surf...
Their owner must have deemed it bath time, the baby was unsure.
..but the foal stayed close to Mom...
They frolicked in the surf as I watched. At times I wondered if the baby would tumble and flip through the waves but even as the surf covered it, it always seemed to remain head up. What a treat to watch. When they come out of the ocean the owner dressed, mounted the mare and galloped away with the baby neighing behind. I never know what I will see from my garden!!
...so ends groundhog day....yeah an early spring!!!
