Finally a really quiet day

Thursday was really low keyed and rather relaxing.

Even Carmeh was really laid back....literally.

Even Carmeh was really laid back….literally.

It was a day of reading and guitar playing in addition to our daily walk.  Carmeh is doing very well and we are almost walking as far as we did with her last year.  She is amazing.  We know that one jump could be the end for her but she is 99.9% doing the ramps and seems to be getting stronger every day.  We know she is enjoying the quality of her life and that pleases us.

We finally got a few chores done including some surgery on my desktop. Here Colin is vacuuming the area where the RAM is stored. Lots of dust.

We finally got a few  of our no rush chores done including some surgery on my desktop. Here Colin is vacuuming the area where the RAM is stored. Lots of dust.

I had ordered more RAM for the desktop. I have now increased it to max and hope that will help speed things up.

I had ordered more RAM for the desktop which I picked up in the US. I have now increased it to max and hope that will help speed things up.  I am looking forward to getting back to the desktop, much easier on my eyes.  I am enjoying the laptop but I need to ease my eye strain. I completed the surgery with no problems.

IT was evn

It was even a quiet sunset.

Big party down the beach tonight, some private party.  Very high end, a huge stage with different levels, several bands and a variety of tents.  Likely a wedding.  The humidity is finally decreasing and we have been sleeping with open windows but certainly not tonight, loud music,  mostly pleasing but pulsating, but we do have to get some sleep or at least attempt to so it is an A/C night for us.

  1. It’s like breathing a big Ahhh!!! – you guys have had a load of ups & downs. ..unpack, pack up, skeddle down the road, wait awhile, trek on back. Sure makes for an interesting blog read..I see 2 aussie blokes were murdered in your neck of the woods…typical of aussie blokes…”no! I’m giving you nothing.”.OK take this…deadie bones. .Australian TV full of it, along with more shoot ups..really the world is going to hell in a handbag….stay safe..excuse my ramblings

I get what you are saying, life is loco at times. Sadly yes these blokes were just North of Mazatlan. One of the main rules of travel here in Mexico is to not travel at night. We are sorry as to what happened.

  2. Nice to relax, those Mexican parties usually last all night long did you sleep?

      Hi George,

Havibg trouble reading your blog. It keeps reloading. Same with Winieviews. Might it be because of the servers in your area?

Sorry to use Contessa’s site to reach you, but I cannot comment on your own blog.

      Cheers, Peter

Thanks Peter, I sent George a personal email and he rectified the problem. All of us bloggers really appreciate when you let us know of a problem.

The music finally stopped at 2:30AM and then we had a few good hours of sleep. Hate to admit that tonight there is another band and another party but on the other side of the RV and closer yet!!!!

It’s wonderful to hear that you were finally having a wonderful relaxing day. But especially happy to hear that Carmeh is doing so well. It’s been almost a year since Scooter went down and she is still doing good. Love those girls of ours.

  4. I think your furry kids love Mexico as much as you do, so nice to see Carmeh happy and healthy and doing well.

I have to agree with you. We all love it here but what is most special it that the girls get our attention all day long and are able to run free on the beach.

I love that pic of Carmeh. I can almost see myself there chilling with her only in a different position and with a cold glass of vino! 🙂
