Home but crazy busy
We got home about noonish last Saturday. No problems whatsoever, at the border nor on the road. But once we got home we just started working at unloading.
Now I am on a roll getting our year end completed as well as the company taxes, our personal taxes and my Father’s final tax return.
Lots of tidbits to share with you and I will do so but right now I need to just keep going.
Some statistics, we did 5660 miles door to door. I have already done 12 loads of laundry since Sunday noon with another to go. I do this was I am working at my desk. We came home to a patio covered with goose poop. Horrific to say the least. Thank goodness it wasn’t my job to clean it up. Colin did have to resort to the power washer. Caeli is now officially on ‘birdie’ patrol. The person who looked after our home and mail was surprised at the amount of mail we got……I told her that we were down to a third of what we used to get.
We have been blessed with perfect weather. The RV has been emptied, tanks drained and flushed and put back in our storage area.
Gotta get back to my desk, it is only 6PM, lots more to get done today/tonight.
Sunset last night. Later it evolved into a 360 pretty pretty pink glow in the sky. I was too exhausted to go out to take another photo but I did enjoy it through the window.
Thanks to all of you who have checked in with me. Life is good. I just want to get it all done so we can simply sit and enjoy being home.

Glad you made it home safe, hey the birds just wanted to welcome you back in the only way they knew how 🙂 I came home after 2 weeks away to 2 hours worth of weeding – now I need to get my flowers and tomatoes planted. I feel like we are behind because we took 2 weeks off in the Spring but before we left it was rain rain rain and now all of a sudden tons of sunshine, although not as hot as Kelowna. Only 22 degrees here today
I am assuming that was the only issue at home was the poop. If so, that makes for an end to a great winter trip. The weather looks great. Thinking about the jacuzzi in the adult section of the park. We met some nice people there. The day we left Kelowna was a wonderful drive. All of it is in my head. Even though we have pictures too bad I can’t do a brain download. Canada was a good trip.

I wasn’t even gone near as long as you two were or had the epic pack/unpack thing, but I am just hours from home and I love going but the joy of getting home to the familiar is pulling me forward and I long for it. So glad you are both back home safe and sound!
