He’s back!

Colin got back from Culiacan about 5:00PM Sunday evening.  The girls, that includes me, were so happy to see him.  Carmeh never let him out of her sight. He had a wonderful trip and many special experiences.  More about that another day.  We spent the evening catching up.  The actual road trip was uneventful other than a huge police presence at the Culiacan toll booths.

It really is nice having him back.  We only had the one phone conversation but about 57 emails.  I had to cope with my Mom being rushed to Emergency and all that happened as a result (she is home now but on oxygen), my Dad is now having a hip replacement on the 5th of April, and of course the preparation in the event we were affected by the tsunami.

Today begins our countdown to D Day.  We leave early morning the 28th so that leaves us very few full quality days to simply enjoy our home and garden here before the pack up begins.  The weather has improved and we are actually getting warmish breezes off the ocean.

The baby hummers are growing quickly.  These were taken this morning.

Now 15 and 17 days old!

  1. Enjoy the last few warm days that you have.

Sorry to hear about your mother and father being ill. Even though you will be sad to leave Mazatlan, I’m sure you will be much closer to your mom and dad once you go back and they will be happy to see you both.

Awsome photos of the nest! It’s neat how you get to see them grow. Glad to hear Colin is back safe and sound.
