Just a quiet day today

We relaxed for the most part today as we are off for a night on the town in just a few minutes.

Another new hibiscus.

We don’t see the horses as much as we used to so we enjoy them when we do.  That is a new foal on the end.

A sunset from the last week, tonight’s was not a winner.

Caeli lovingly resting her head on Carmeh.  Sadly Carmeh has been experiencing her gastritis again so we are taking it day by day.

We had three RV’s drop in today.  So far they have no idea how long they are staying.  They did move onto RV2 as had they stayed here every site would be full.  So nice to see so many folks checking out the Isla.

By the way the internet has been upgraded and is just perfect.  Things can’t get much better here in paradise.

I’m so very sorry to hear about Carmeh. I don’t know if you can get this is Mexico, but I’ve had “great” results with Slippery Elm for my Cali. You have to give it in a time span of two hours from any other medication. The dosage for dogs is 1/4 tsp. per 10 lbs. of weight. I give it to her 2 times a day mixed with a couple of tablespoons of vanilla yogurt. If you can’t get it in Mazatlan, and have a mailing address I could send you some. I buy the organic brand in bulk foods from my local health food store.

It coats the stomach lining and really helps. If the distress is from acid reflux, you can actually give your pup Famotidine (Pepsid) – 10 mg in the morning and evening.

I’ve done a lot of research lately, and it’s actually paid off. Cali is eating well, much more stable, etc…

Google some natural cures for gastritis and you’ll come up with a lot of information…

Relaxing days are good, hope Carmeh gets better soon.
