It’s time for that monthly photo
This is the photo of the girls for our October calendar.
We plan to feature the girls once again in our 2018 calendar.

THAT WILL BE NICE TO HAVE ANOTHER YEAR OF THE GIRLS.
Thank you, sniff!
It is just so remarkable how the girls knew they were almost to their destination. It is as if they had a sixth sense to know this! In other photos you have shown, such as one or two photos on that terrible road to the Isla, they both perked up with anticipation. Other times when you are on a long haul for just making miles, they were just doing a ho-hum resting period. I guess that is why I listen to the fuss of animals because they intuitively know something is going to happen, like a storm coming.
Oh Dee, thank you for being so observant. Once long ago our first doxie, Cloii, barked just before an earthquake in the Vancouver area. It was just a tremor but she definitely knew that something was amiss.
A great picture, filled with anticipation. We hope your next stay at Isla de la Piedra will be peaceful.
It is a good memory of what we shared with them. We do expect to be quite sad once we arrive but hope that we will adjust quickly.
You do have some wonderful pictures and awesome memories of the great times you had together with the girls.
Yes we do have some awesome memories. Thank goodness we take so many photos.
I love this picture of the girls getting excited about running on the beach. Sure do miss them.
They were special.
It is a silly thing, I did not ever meet them, but I know them thru your blog, thru you. It just makes my heart hurt and leads to tears when I see them. Can’t imagine how you feel or manage.
Take Care and God Bless
Thank you Dolores for your heartfelt comment. To be honest is has been difficult these past months and the littlest thing will set us off again.
Agree so much with Doris T. I get tears in my eyes when ever you post their pictures. Feel so sad for you and know how much it hurts as we also had to help our two doxies say good bye. Miss them so much. Not ready for another fur baby yet as our future plans wouldn’t be fair to it. Someday when we settle down we will definitely be adding another doxie to family.
I believe that doxies are extra special. It will take a very long time before our hearts will be ready for another. You can get another fur baby but the personality of the ones you lost can’t be replaced.
Great pics of the wieners and cool scenery. Hi Colin!
I know that you both loved the girls, maybe Caeli a bit more 🙂
