Getting it done
It was a long day on my feet yesterday but I got everything on my to do list accomplished. At the end of the day I realized that I had walked just over 10,000steps, my first since the end of August. Best of all my foot did not hurt. I cautiously say that I am good to start my walking again. I’m glad I took the time to let the injury heal and to restart my walking a bit at a time. Of course this is not the right time of year for me to be out walking on a daily basis but I know I am in good shape for walking in Mexico.
I spent $351.68 yesterday and saved $46.95. My biggest deal was on cheddar cheese, I bought both old and medium as they were on sale and marked good until the end of April. 1.5lbs of old cheddar cost me $6.99CAD. After much back and forth I ended up buying 6lbs which will travel to the Isla for happy hours.
One of the neat things I did was finalize everything I want to bring to Winnipeg the end of this month. Mommio is going to have so much fun. The first day theme is going to be Halloween which she loves. I got a few things to decorate her room. The next day is her 103rd birthday and of course it will all be about her and the many many gifts we have for her. Our last day there will be centered around a Christmas theme. We won’t be there long but it will be over the top entertainment while we are.
Yesterday was a very full day and today is going to be even busier. Fortunately my last two medical appointments are today and are just routine things. No computer news at all. I did leave two messages to contact me before 11AM today on my cell so we shall see what happens.

Nice to get things done, we are about wrapped up here. Did pick up a enough of our coffee for 200 pots and 8 -1/2 pound vacuum sealed extra old white cheddar that we love, from Oak Grove Cheese factory, we will use sparingly over the winter months.
Nice that you are back walking again, nothing much better for you.
However to do you keep that amount of cheese from spoiling once your break the vacuum? I used to bring almost double what I am bringing this year but there are so many delicious Mexican cheeses to enjoy as well.
What a wonderful way to celebrate with Colin’s mom! I’m sure she’ll enjoy it all.
I know she will. Stay tuned for the posts and photos.
Sounds like a great time with Colin’s mom!
Won’t be long till your trip to MZT. Looking forward to lots of posts.
First the visit to Mommio and then the Isla. I just need to survive to October 26th and all will be well. Looking forward to seeing you in April.
Love the coffee table!
I do also and as I mentioned somewhere earlier it matches the end table between our two teal recliners.
Really like the glass top coffee table – they are my favorite if they have an interesting base. We have a glass top that sits on a grape vine base – think you would like it, too.
You know me well my friend, of course I would love your coffee table. Want to trade? What a brilliant idea?
Was it intentional that the coffee table looks like a guitar pick?! (love the unusual legs)
Mommio is very lucky to have the two of you. Happy birthday to her!
You do have a great imagination. FYI Colin does not use a pick, classical guitar is played with one’s own nails.
You guys are going to have a great winter. I can just feel it!
I really need a great winter and now that I can walk again all should be well.
Kind of exciting to be getting ready to go to the Isla again, also to Winnipeg to see Mommio. She will love all that you have planned for her.d Good news on your feet!
Other than the computer issues things are looking up.
You are so organized, Contessa, makes me smile!!!!!
