Home a month…

..finally the promise of things to come.

Looks like Spring may be here!

The sun is out so it is time for Colin to get out there and work his magic.  The to do lists aren’t complete but when the sun shines it is time to go for it.

These two hung out at the lap pool on Mother's Day, too cold for anyone else to join them.

The promise of things to come, looks like most of my roses have survived. There is one that still shows no sign of life but I'm not ready to give up on it yet.

Cruising thru the park in the golf cart I spied this gorgeous Magnolia tree just coming into bloom. Not only is the colour fantastic but the fragrance outstanding. What a lovely perfume it would make.

Spring is in the air…………finally!

Just had to close with these wise words by Ernest Hemingway…”Wine is the most civilized thing in the world.”   Now I know why I’ve enjoyed his books over the years!

  1. I love the magnolia blooms. I bought a small tree for our yard about two years before selling the house. When we sold the house I told the new owners that I was taking the magnolia tree and the rhododendron bush and then gave them to my Mum and Dad to plant at their house and that is where they still are. It is nice to see them each year and how much they have grown.

We’re supposed to get some warmer weather later in the week. I surely hope so! Right now it’s drizzling a chilly rain, and it’s supposed to snow a lot tonight.
