This is the entire company year end as well as our personal tax details. Lots of time involved to put this together. UPS will be delivering this to our accountants office in Vancouver Tuesday morning.
Still some personal odds and sods to finish off.
My desk was looking better by the end of today as in 10PM but still another two days before I am truly caught up.
My spices are back from the RV. Colin has made three trips there in two days.
Then he put then out on the counter for me in alphabetical order.
So I had no choice but to put them all away. I prefer my spice area in the RV where it eye level, no bending over.
Before we left for Mexico Colin had ordered two pieces of custom glass cut. Our back splash over the kitchen counter is wood and it was starting to get a bit spotted from water splashes so Colin installed a piece of glass behind the faucet. You can see the width by the masking tape outline. It fits from the bottom counter to just under the top counter. It was quite the job to keep the glass in place against the wall and to get the caulking done. Looks great now.
The second piece of glass that needed caulking was between the tub and the cabinet. When we built this place we decided to build a false box between the side of the cabinet and the tub. We were trying to avoid a dust collector area. However again water droplets were starting to mark the the top of the false box. Colin had made a template of the area so the glass could be cut to size. Nice to have these two areas protected.
We both feel like we are making progress. Today was a bonus day in that we had sunshine and warmth. Colin went out and did the first photography job of the year while I never even stepped outside. Hope to get out for a walk tomorrow. I have to get my legs back into walking mode for Europe. Hope you all had a good day.

Nice to get those things taken care of and enjoying some nicer weather.
Nice to have the heat and the sun. So far the lake is only rising in tiny increments. Fingers crossed.
That certainly looks like a nice little stack of paperwork. The glass pieces are a good solution, soon you’ll have time to take in some vitamin D therapy.
Disappointed I did not get my walk in today. I did however manage to get a lot done on the to do list.
Nice to get the taxes out of the way, and great idea on the glass!
Thank you. First we tried to get someone to re stain the wood but no one wanted to take the job on.
You must feel elated that the burden of doing the company taxes are lifted off your shoulders. Time to celebrate a little with that glass of wine waiting for you.
Your spice assortment amazes me. You should post a few flavourful recipes, I’m always looking for inspirations.
I am so happy to have the taxes gone. Of course I have to wait and see what the damages are going to be. I am not much of a cook, mostly follow recipes and hence the spices.
