Thursday morning we were back at the to do list. The new door latch. The lower piece needs another coat of paint.
As good as new.
The left tail light rubber is perfect but for some reason the right tail light rubber is disintegrating.
We could not find black caulking but did find a black caulking roofing product.
No idea how it will harden or if it will work. Stay tuned for that outcome.
The next big project was to reseal under the bed. We had Eric do it last year but Colin did not supervise every moment and we actually could smell exhaust in the back area of the RV as we were driving here. There were a few tiny corners that were not sealed at all. So this was a major repair as Colin took everything off and started from scratch. Needless to say Colin put a lot of thought and detail not to mention time, into resolving the issue and we are confident in his repair.
Yet another lovely sunset.
Next stop, Fremont Street. We walked for a bit and took in the sights and the lights.
For a few years now we make it a point to have dinner at Nacho Daddy!
A bit noisy with the sports bar background.
But the food is excellent as are the margaritas. We both choose the seafood combo, a lobster & crab enchilada and a fish taco.
Some flair to serving certain meals.
A bit of a walk after our meal. Now that is an extra large truck.
Can you see the zip line people@ top center?
Always so much to see.
Somehow we always end up a at Double Diamond slot machine.
Two double diamonds in a row.
Ten dollars doesn’t last as long as it used to. Double diamond yet again. Soon it was gone.
A great way to end another fun day in Las Vegas.
Nice to get those little repairs taken care of then down to Freemont St. to play and enjoy a tasty meal.
It certainly was a good day and a perfect end to the day.
Good to get some repairs done, likely Colin is way to busy to do most of them when you guys are home. The food at Nacho Daddy looks amazing!
He never has a moment at home to do these things. Several of them are a few years past due but we have the time now so why not.
Great pictures. Your body language at the slot machine speaks volumes. We got a good chuckle.
Alan and Laura
Looking back at the photos, it was a fun five minutes. Happy to keep you laughing.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog!!!!!!!!
Thank you.
Colin has done great work on your repairs! And that was one big truck 🙂
I can’t even imagine trying to get into a truck that high.
Yes he is going great guns on the repairs. So nice to get all the little things done.
