Que pasa?
Another beautiful day here in the Okanagan. Highs over the next 5 days should reach 29C, however it is cooling down somewhat at night, as in 3.2C last night!!
Colin is shooting a new hospital in Vernon today before it opens for business. Good job for sure! He already has been given the job for the new hospital tower here in Kelowna that will open in May 2012. My concern is that we might have to come back a bit earlier from Mexico. I am not worried about that yet as we may need to be back for the move into our new home. We have had several great showings and have 2 or 3 serious possibles. One lady was around last night just at dusk, just looking and looking. We shall see.
Meanwhile I am very slowly getting caught up with my desk work that has been piling up since early July. I can’t go to Mexico till that is done and then lots more desk work. My current mantra is one day at a time, some days it’s one hour at a time ;}
The RV has been scheduled for some work on September 15th at Voyageur RV. From there is has to go somewhere else for other work….I will get the list from Colin so I can post it. It’s not my department so I don’t know the details. I just have to pay the bills!!
I am slowly starting my health insurance research for the trip south. The first agency told me that due to my surgery I will not be able to be covered. Hmmmm! Once I get the facts & figures I will let you know. We went to a pancake breakfast here last Monday but they still haven’t gotten back to me.
Patti & Simon came along and got to meet some of their neighbors!

Nice to have sun and warmth during the day..but very nice to have cool evenings..I find I sleep better with fresh air from the window versus the AC…good luck with the health insurance coverage. We are very lucky blue cross health and travel insurance was included in Ricks retirement package back in 98 from his job…take care
