crunch, Crunch, CRUNCH!!!

Deadline time!!

In case you didn’t notice, it is CRUNCH time!!

The deadline for the Tommie Awards is October 13th…..don’t tell anyone but we just found out today that the deadline has been extended to October 20th.

If he is not taking photos, he is on the ball....yup, using the ball had enabled Colin to go 20 hours at a time!!!!

The Tommies are similar to the Oscars but for Canadian Home Builders.  Colin has done photography for these awards and for the Georgies based out of Vancouver for many years.  I am not bragging when I say he photographed 85% of the Silver winners and 75% of  the Gold winners.  We give up attending the Oscar type celebrations each February, while in Mexico but he has still done the majority of the photography.  Years ago, when we lived in Vancouver, we attended the awards, he in his tux and me in my ballgown.  Wish I had photos to share.  Now we just read about it the next day!!

We no longer count, but believe we have won hundreds of these.

So yes we are in the final final moments…..

Once those are done ,we have ( well he has ) four  more massive homes to photograph ( but you have to remember that I am the managing director ) plus a few smaller projects and then we should be free to go.  We always have to leave some jobs behind and we invariably lose these as potential clients but life is for living and celebrating.

Here’s to 13 sleeps to departure day!

Wow, to be honored to that degree among your peers … incredible !!

I am so envious when I see someone that has found their niche in life. Here I am at fifty, and I still don’t know what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I love the saying .. ” find a job that you love to do, and you never have to work again..

So true !! Take care TnT
