The relaxation did not last long

I had tossed and turned all night and woke up Tuesday the 19th, with a scratchy throat and some phlegm. Colin said that my voice was not my own.  Today was the day that Colin had arranged for us to get our things from our storage area.

Two full trucks as always.

With Colin’s help I managed to get the furniture power washed.  You can see our newly moved plants in this photo.

Colin found the paint cans that we had in the storage area. Two different colours of yellow. At $50.00 US per gallon, he decided to mix the bits that were left. The  patio painting was on the agenda for tomorrow, Wednesday. We did some odds and sods Tuesday.  A bit of progress.

First part of the sunset last Tuesday.

Which evolved to this.

A more relaxed day but I was unable to do much due to not feeling well and lack of energy.  Things totally changed on Wednesday, the 20th, stay tuned for the unexpected.

Hi contessa, your yard looks lovely with all the plants nice and healthy; super sunset pictures tonight ! I’ll be curious, how far away from the ocean breakers is your backyard & had the waves ever come near your living area ? My regards: Lucy. PD: wish your cold symptoms are gone away.

Thanks you for your comment and questions. In our 8 years on this very site we have had the waves come righto the back our site. We had a foot of sand on our patio that year. As you can see from the photos our front yard is not far from the water. About one minute of walking.
