Home Sweet Home!!!
We made it. However the last 9 miles took close to 3.5 hours and we are exhausted. You could almost make a movie out of that story. You will just have to read it for yourself in a day or two.
Just wanted to let you know that all is well and we are thrilled with our new site and so very happy to be here. I will bring you up to date wihtin the next day on the trip from San Carlos to Culiacan and then to here, Mazatlan. There are a few things I have noted down to share with you and of course some photos but I need to go to bed. Muy cansada!
For the first time ever we did nothing towards our set up on arrival. Once we parked and plugged in we went for a beach walk and early dinner at Puesta del Sol.
The girls just love being back home although it may take Caeli sometime to adjust, she kept sitting outside at our old site.
I have given us two weeks to take this canvas and transform it….then is is strictly relax, relax and more relaxation.
Talk to you very very soon……..

bless your heart you sound so tired…rest well everything else will wait …you have arrived 🙂
hugs my friend
So happy to hear you are home safe and sound. Poor Caeli – they just don’t like change. Sleep well and looking forward to hearing about your journey.
This time your Spanish word of the day is not appropriate. Glad you made it safe and sound….oh so sweet to see the wonderful ocean and palm trees.
So, so happy for you – I know how you love it there. Rest and enjoy!
Makes me misty-eyed. I want it to be my home, too. So funny that Caeli is still sitting by the old spot!
BTW-Stan wondered if the road you take is the one he saw people driving on while on our “jungle cruise.” He saw vehicles driving through the palms.
Marty…yes it is a part of the road….where you got off the jungle cruise, the road that runs parallel to the water, that is ‘the road’!!
Larry…indeed a new record.
I’m thinking that 3.5 hours must be a new world record for that road. Always happens when you are so close to your destintation. It’s always that last few miles. Enjoy! You both worked so hard to get there.
Finally there, good for you guys, now to put your toes in water and you a** in the sand, enjoy paradise!
