After the storm
We had nothing to complain about during that storm.
The last two photos were taken at Mar- a – Villas RV Park in Mazatlan. I can’t even begin to consider the RV damage. We were so very fortunate. That Class A ‘Sea View’ really did have a sea view.
We spent the day after, Friday, cleaning up.
Our third time power washing in two weeks. Drying out towels, tablecloths and the area under the tables.
Colin and Ismael were planting three new palmas when they came across eleven large red ant nests, not just large ants but also huge nests.
That would explain why so many of my bougainvillea have been chewed up.
Fresh off the veggie truck. All of this for 50 pesos or $3.40CAD/$2.56USD.
Just as we were heading off for a beach walk, we had a visitor.
The horse came between our RV and the one beside us and then moved into our yard. It only had about three feet between our green web chair ( on the left ) and the plant pot next to the wall. I had visions of it crashing through our yard back out to the road and destroying our plants. However it was very polite and left the same way it had arrived.
We had a horse in our yard back in 2015 and yet again back in February of 2014. Click here for those fun photos. This one was eating my palms.
Ferne and Donna dropped by for visit. As you can see I am taking some time off. I think I mentioned before that the palms have grown so high that we need to put up umbrellas in the afternoon.
A lovely end to the day Friday. The storm is over and it is time to move on.

Las Jaibas, at the rear of the park was similar to Mar Villa. Now that its drying up and the north wind is back we’ve got heavy sandy dust back. You just can’t win!
I did not know that Las Jaibas had water into RV working parts! Crazy weather. At least the humidity is slowing down.
That is a lot of water. It must have been quite a storm.
Interesting visitor. He was probably as surprised as you that he ended up there.

It was the worst storm since 1991.
That looks like quite the storm. Lucky that you never experienced the worst of it. We arrived in AZ yesterday and are just settling in for the winter.
What we had to deal with was bad enough but I can’t imaged what this others had to deal with. It will take months for them to get their RV’s back in working order.
So very happy you were not flooded out like those others – that must have been heartbreaking. And next time the horse comes in – take it for a ride! 😉

Wow there will definitely be some damage in those first two pictures! I had visions of that horse doing major damage, sol glad this was a polite horse 🙂
We have had the damage in the past so this was a pleasant surprise.
